Treads Tire and Wheel is your local shop for routine scheduled oil changes and maintenance.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE MY OIL CHANGED?
Regular oil changes are essential to maintaining your vehicle's health. Generally, most modern cars can go 5,000 to 7,500 miles between oil changes. If you use a blended or full synthetic oil, you can extend that to 10,000 miles or more. However, it's always best to consult your vehicle's owner's manual for the specific recommendations from the manufacturer. Premium engine oil such as AMSOIL Signature Series is often termed "the once per year oil change" with possible mileage ranges of up to 25,000 miles between oil changes, with premium filter.
Our team is available to ensure that your vehicle's oil is changed quickly and efficiently, so you can get back on the road in no time.
Our oil change services offer synthetic blend, full synthetic, and premium AMSOIL synthetic engine oils.
We use vehicle-matched oil filters to ensure that the efficiency of the filtration matches what is required by the manufacturer.
Treads Tire and Wheel is your local shop for brake service.
HOW DO I KNOW IF IT TIME FOR MY BRAKES TO BE SERVICED?
Several signs indicate that your car's brakes might need attention. Pay attention to any unusual noises, such as squealing, grinding, or clicking when braking. Additionally, watch for vibrations in the brake pedal or steering wheel when stopping, or if your car pulls to one side while braking. If you notice a longer stopping distance, a brake warning light on your dashboard, or a spongy brake pedal, it's also a good time to have your brakes checked.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE MY BRAKES INSPECTED?
Brake inspections are generally recommended every 20,000 to 60,000 miles, depending on driving habits and conditions. A good rule of thumb is to have them checked at least once a year, every 12,000 miles, or whenever tires are rotated. More frequent checks, like with every oil change, are suggested for aggressive drivers.
Whether you want to replace your brakes with OE-grade products from the manufacturer lines, Duralast, BrakeBest, and NAPA; or step up a grade and install enhanced, low-dust, ceramic pads; or fully upgrade your braking system with premium products from Powerstop, EBC, Brembo, or Wilwood; we can get you fixed right up!

Treads Tire and Wheel is your local shop for wheel alignment.
WHAT IS A WHEEL ALIGNMENT?
Alignment refers to an adjustment of a vehicle’s suspension components – the system that connects a vehicle to its wheels. It is not an adjustment of the tires or wheels themselves. The key to proper alignment is adjusting the angles of the tires which affects how they make contact with the road.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED A WHEEL ALIGNMENT?
There are a couple ways to tell if your car needs a tire alignment. If you've noticed one or more of these indicators, you should have your alignment checked by a qualified service technician immediately.
Uneven tread wear
Vehicle pulling to the left or right
Your steering wheel is off center when driving straight
Steering wheel vibration
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET AN ALIGNMENT?
You should consider having your alignment checked annually, after an impact (like hitting a curb or pothole), and when getting new tires.
